- Cryogen-free 4T solenoid
Our scope of Solenoid Magnets covers the ranges of superconducting (s.c.) and normal conducting (n.c.) magnets for research and industrial applications. We design and manufacture solenoidal magnets according to our customer’s magnetic, cryogenic or geometrical requirements. For superconducting magnets cooling concepts like bath-cooled, forced flow, and cryogen-free are applied to optimize for the most economical operation.
Services comprise complete design up to fabrication and test including magnetic field measurements at liquid helium temperature, and commissioning at the customers site.
Our standard winding machines enable us to fabricate superconducting solenoids with a warm bore of more than one meter. Usually a wet winding technique is applied, other techniques are available if more suitable or requested.
