Cryogenic Design

The cryogenic design of superconducting magnets is performed comprising cryostat designs for low cryogen consumption and cryogen supply system designs for bath cooling, by integration of multi-stage cryo-coolers for recondensing or even cryogen-free operation:

  • Thermal analysis with various heat conducting codes based on state-of-the-art data for metallic materials, organic materials and compound materials
  • High-Tc material for current leads
