BSCCO-Tapes
The Bi-HTS group, originating from the former R&D unit of Vacuumschmelze Superconductors, develops and produces Bi-2223 wire products since 1995.
Bi-2223 wires are able to carry current densities of abt. 100 times higher than copper.
Bruker HTS focuses on Bi-2223 wires with the highest quality available in the world. This relates in a diversed spectrum of different types of Bi-2223 standard wires, optimized for application needs in length up to 2000 m. In addition, one of Bruker HTS main focus are custom made wires, especially designed and manufactured for customer needs. All wires are based on Bruker HTS Ag alloy hull technology for reinforcement and are availabe with a reliable insulation.
